DoSAA believes in the power of building community connections, both virtually and in person. We offer numerous virtual programming to foster that sense of community among like-minded students, professionals, and advocates in the South Asian mental health space. We also understand that nothing can beat the power of joining in community on a more local level. If you are interested in hosting a social gathering in your town/city, DoSAA offers a stipend to support the financial costs. Further information on hosting your own Regional Social Gathering can be found here.

DoSAA is an entirely volunteer-led organization. The membership dues ensure that we can continue to host events, provide meaningful spaces for difficult conversations, and offer financial support to students and professionals alike. To become a member, register as an AAPA member and make sure to add “Division on South Asian Americans.” If you are already an AAPA member, login to your AAPA account and add DoSAA.

We are always looking for more volunteers to help with social media, event hosting, and to help run our routine programming. Looking to get more involved? Complete this volunteer interest form.
